Private villa rental concerns – Dave’s Florida Villa have you covered

We have a renter who has booked a whole month at our Tuscan Ridge luxury villa (excellent!), and she was kind enough to let us know why she picked our villa accommodation. One thing the lady mentioned was that there are always concerns about whether the villa is actually real and if the pictures aren’t showing the real truth. I hadn’t thought about this. However you can rent our Florida Villa with peace of mind for the following reasons.

– Our management company. Homes of America handle all queries you have during your stay. If you look on their site you can see our villa listed. They offer a fantastic service and would be happy to address any concerns, and if you are worried about the villa you can always call them directly to check.

Bing aerial view and Google street view prove the villa is at least real. This doesn’t mean it’s lovely inside though, but it does prove the location, south facing pool, and size of the property.

– You can see our picture in front of the villa, as well as links to several profile pages on twitter, google+, facebook and linkedIn to validate our identity. Feel free to call us too for a personal chat to address any worries.

– By accident, that’s our baby boy Rowan in the picture of the living room!

I can fully understand the concerns when you are spending your hard earned money on our villa, but please be assured that the villa pictures are all up to date and that the description and location are accurate. The last thing we want are negative reviews.

Is Tuscan Ridge too far from Disney? No!

Is Tuscan Ridge too far out from Disney?

Definitely not!

On a map it looks like it will take longer to get to the Florida theme parks than an area such as Kissimmee, but in reality it’s so well connected to the I-4 that you can get to the gates in under 15 minutes. The problem with Kissimee and travelling on the 192 (from east or west) is the lights, and traffic. Hit every red light and you’ll be wishing you were on the Interstate. Hit every red light for the fourth day in a row on the 192 and you’ll wish you weren’t on holiday at all! It’s so much more relaxing to whizz down the 27, over to the I4, then up to Disney. Traffic flows well, it’s a more consistent drive, and only one or two lights to contend with on your way to the Interstate. You can stop off at the nice Championsgate shopping area and Publix to stock up on essentials too.

So in short, Tuscan Ridge is a great place to stay and close to drive to Disney, Golf, Seaworld and Universal Studios.

Much better to get a quiet and perfect villa like Dave’s Florida Villa than be 3 minutes closer to Disney in a compromised villa. Book now!

Merry Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year….. not to be working…. and to be with the family. It’s our son’s first Christmas and we’re keeping him entertained with wrapping paper and boxes. We’re very near closing on the villa and can’t wait to add those finishing touches needed to make everyone’s stay perfect in Florida and Tuscan Ridge! Happy Christmas from Donna and Dave and Rowan.

Villa details added yesterday

I had a bit of spare time yesterday, waiting for the Turkey to get fat and so on.  So I decided to raid the inspiration banks and fill out the Barbera Drive page on the main website to get our Tuscan Ridge villa well and truly on the map.

We’ve added details of the Tuscan Ridge community, the location close to Disney and golf, the features of the house and the key selling points.  Let’s face it, it’s a crowded market and you’ve got to have most of the “must have” features to get bookings in place.

Our villa has the key element – a south facing oversized pool and spa.  Heated, of course.  You can wake up in the mornings in the master suite, draw back the blinds and have the sun beaming onto the large lanai area to greet you.  Grab a cold orange juice from the fridge and slide the master suite’s doors back, and you are instantly waking up in style in Florida!  I feel more relaxed already.

For those staying in the queen end suite, it’s not that bad either.  Walk through your own shower and en-suite room (closed off from the rest of the villa) and open the door onto the pool area.  Straight out into the sun!

If the sun is too hot, why not stay put in the main family room, or kick back in the 2nd living room?  Both have ample space, and a dining area each.  Plenty of books to read if you get bored (really?!) and lots of guides to the area.  You will be well and truly spoilt during your stay.
